Extel Mobile Phone Trading LLC
These Terms and Conditions apply to purchases made from Extel Mobile Phone Trading LLC and are governed by the applicable consumer protection laws of the United Arab Emirates.
1. Warranty & Service Policy
- Manufacturer Warranty: Most devices (Samsung, Apple, Lenovo, etc.) are covered by the official manufacturer’s warranty (typically 1 year). The original invoice must be retained to claim warranty service.
- Extel Brand Warranty: Extel-branded smartphones and tablets are serviced directly at authorized service centers located in Deira or Al Karama.
- Exclusions: Warranty does not cover customer-induced damage such as cracked screens, liquid damage, unauthorized software modifications (rooting/jailbreaking), or physical misuse.
2. Return and Exchange Policy
- Defective Products: Devices with manufacturing defects may qualify for repair, replacement, or refund (usually within 7–14 days of purchase).
- Change of Mind: Returns are generally not accepted once the product box is opened or the seal is broken. Factory-sealed products may be eligible for exchange within 7 days.
- Refund Method: Approved refunds are processed via the original payment method.
3. Pricing and Payments
- VAT: All prices include 5% VAT. The VAT breakdown appears on the invoice.
- Payment Methods: Cash and major credit/debit cards (Visa/Mastercard) are accepted at physical outlets.
4. Repair Services Terms
- Data Loss: Customers are responsible for backing up their data before submitting devices for repair. The company is not liable for data loss.
- Collection: Repaired devices must be collected within 60–90 days. Unclaimed items may be disposed of to recover associated costs.
5. Compliance with UAE Law
All transactions are governed by the laws of the United Arab Emirates and applicable Dubai Economy (DED) regulations.
